A couple of days earlier Micromax did a bloggers meet up where they officially launched it’s first ever tablet- Funbook. Even though the meet took place a day after the press release of the Micromax Funbook, we did have a chance to get a preview of the device.
Here is the video of our Hands On experience with the Micromax Funbook :
From our experience of using the device, the device isn’t the best of tablets that we have come across but with the tagline- “Pass bhi hoga, timepass bhi hoga”, Micromax aims at targeting the young adults. The target market, being young adults, the price has to be low and given that Micromax is selling this one at Rs. 6500, no other device at least a tablet doesn’t, even come close to competing with the price, of course, if we leave Aakash tablet out of the question. Given the price, which is arguably the best price that one can offer, the device can pretty much attract its target market. Even though it seems unlikely that Micromax has any profit margins but that’s their head ache and not that of the end user.
The best part of the Micromax Funbook is that fact that it is officially the first ever Android Tablet Running Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) in the Indian market.
