Bonjour!
Welcome to TeCHeck..
Do you know what does the T in TeCheck stands for? Well it stands for ‘Tablets’.
So we are back with another Tablet, This is the one I’ve been waiting for a while and I thank Sony for finally coming up with a tablet.
Like always we take a sneak peek.
Sony is developing two tablets with unprecedented design, including S1 (codename) which is optimized for rich media entertainment and S2 (codename) which is ideal for mobile communication and entertainment.
We will be checking out S1 today.
So, S1 like everyone else would be running Android 3.0 (maybe 3.1). The tablet will be WiFi and WAN (3G/4G) compatible. Sony will use a custom user interface for the S1 gaming tablet, called ”Quick and Smooth” UI that also adds the “Swift” web browser.I personally think they shouldn’t mess up the cool Honeycomb interface.
S1 has a 9.4-inch display for enjoying the web and rich content on a large screen. Its off-center of gravity design (Wedge shaped) offers comfortable use for hours.
The Sony Tablets can control home entertainment devices, with the inclusion of infrared meaning that you can control a variety of AV devices. There is also DLNA functionality to allow the streaming of content to TVs and wireless speakers.
The tablet will be Playstation Certified. Yeah! Bingo! That’s what we were waiting for. No more Angry birds, we need some real games out here.
This is going to be a real bonus for the users who are looking for a tablet with some cool features.
Sony S1 tablet has just passed the FCC test so it is due to launch later this year. I hope my dad would get me one this Christmas.
I am a huge fan of Sony and their slogan of “Make Believe” makes me believe they’ll come up with an amazing product.
So Apple, there’s more trouble coming for you but you guys know how to fight? Right? I-Pad 3 with at least flash support and RAM more than a Smartphone might help your cause. Till then, all I know is that Apple is a very good fruit and an apple everyday, keeps the doctor away.
Sayōnara from a Sony Fan!
