Are you good at multitasking?
Do you believe that you are good at multitasking? Well, think again. As per a recent study, only 2% of people are good at multitasking or rather multitask effectively. No, we aren’t saying that you cannot belong to the two per cent of the people but the fact remains that everyone cannot belong to that two percent.
According to an infographic by OnlineCollege.org, 98% of the people who multitask, even though they believe that they are increasing their productivity but they are hampering it instead! In the world of internet and browsers where numerous tabs are present and a number of websites are open, multitasking appears to be the way of life but is it good?
As I write this post, I am listening to music, reading a post on a certain website, following my twitter stream and sharing the previous posts that have been posted over here at Observer’s Paradise. Is it adversely affecting the quality of the post that I am keying in? Well, I certainly cannot answer that but maybe you can.
We tend to multitask everywhere, be it at work or at school or college or anywhere else but as stated it has been found to have adverse effects rather than increasing productivity so should we multitask at all?
