So Facebook is back with yet another interesting change and for a change, we like what they have done. Facebook, along with being the one of the biggest if not the biggest Social Networking website is a place that people love to use to chat with their friends. This makes Facebook messages a pretty important part of Facebook which should provide a user experience that satisfies the users so as to be able to keep them interested.
Facebook Messages did fail to provide the user experience that a user would have expected but the revamp given makes Facebook messages look a lot more sleek and give a User Interface it should have had to begin with.
The new interface of the Facebook Message brings along a number of changes the biggest one being the side by side layout and the ability to show multiple in-line images at a single time as a single message. This one certainly made us like the update. This was something that Facebook surely required. Other than that there were a few insignificant changes such as the addition of more keyboard shortcuts, then there is better integration of the emoticons in the messages.
Another that has certainly gotten better with the update is searching a friends’ message or thread by simply typing whatever you want to search in the main thread itself. So searching has gotten a lot easier. For somebody like me who has multiple thousand messages with a couple of friends, searching for something important in between was a lot more cumbersome but with the revamped UI, that has certainly gotten better.
All in all, another day, another revamp from Facebook, the only difference, we like it this time round!
