Whatsapp’s Update adds more Emoji Symbols!

Whatsapp is literally ruling over the world of Instant Messaging and serving the purpose of a cross platform chat room for millions of users who have downloaded it over and over again on different devices they have used. Even though an increase in Whatsapp users has caused overload problems, at least that’s what we think for in the past few weeks we saw messages being delivered and being received late. We don’t have an official word on it though still it thousands new users continue to join in every single day.

Now that it is serving million of users, the developers of Whatsapp did have to cater to the needs and demands of it’s loyal users and it has done just that by providing a number of new Emoji Symbols or what people generally refer to as emoticons in its latest update. The 2.8.5732 version of Whatsapp came with minor bug fixes, one of which was in the uploading and sharing of media files as well as a wide variety of new Emoji symbols which came in a version right before the current version of the messenger.

Whatsapp already had a lot to offer as a cross platform messenger and as far as we know, already had the most diverse kind of emoticons to play around with. The new version makes that better and lets you play with even more emoticons. The limit of members that can be added to group has also been increased as far as the group chat feature of the messenger is concerned.

This update by Whatsapp certainly made us happy as we played around like a child with the huge new collection of emoticons. The next thing on our list of updates that we expect Whatsapp to implement would be something like a “Ping” button that exists in BlackBerry chat. We hope to see that in the near future updates. Until then, enjoy playing with the new Emoji, the new emoticons! Happy Whatsapp-ing!

Whatsapp can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store here.
