The REAL cost of iPhone 4S!

It’s time to reveal the truth of one of the biggest technological giants of all time. Apple Inc. which released arguably it’s ‘smartest’ and the best yet iPhone i.e. the iPhone 4S, which has more errors than one would have liked or expected. Battery issue being the biggest and most probably the customer killer.

Before revealing to you the REAL cost of the iPhone 4S, here are the costs at which they are available in the market:

$199 16GB

As for India, the price is 45,000 odd Rupees and to be honest, we didn’t really care to check the price for it was too high and the device, not worth the cost!

There have been a number of jokes or rather facts viral all over the internet for things which are cheaper than the iPhone 4S.

Here are the top 7 that we came across:

1. Rakhi Sawant and Poonam Pandey
2. Half a Tata Nano
3. A second hand Maruti
4. Parole from Tihar to attend a
5. An iPad2 + an Android phone
6. GDP of Somalia

Okay that’s the funny but true side of it all.

Have a look:

                                                                                                              (Zoom in for best viewing)

370£ of profit booking! How about that!

Now, I don’t have much to say but just that, “If you don’t have an iPhone, well, don’t worry, those who do have paid enough for Apple to sustain it’s growth!”

10 pounds is what you say the camera’s worth. It’s pretty insane that you believe whatever you see  on the internet. Take care my friend, you’re gonna have a tough time.

    • What do you think the cost to be my dear friend?

    • Okay for you let’s make it a 100 pound camera. Now how about the remaining 270 pounds? Still more than half profit booking!

Where is the cost of R & D…

        • You want to say that every time Apple thinks of a new product- A new iPhone or something similar, they hire new employees and hence the R&D. Maybe Siri is something you are talking about over here. If you are willing to pay 200 odd pounds for a voice assistant which, well, is surely works like a charm, then you can go ahead! :)

Oh, that’s just one example I quoted. And no, 100 pounds would be a little too much.
Secondly, just answer the following questions :-
Major sales in which part of the world i.e which country?Going on to the second question assuming you’ve found out the answer to the first,
are the most of the devices sold w/ or w/o the contract?
Again, after you’ve answered the previous one, I wonder how much they cost.

See, they do take profit margins from the service providers too. But they do come up with noble ideas. Let’s see, which of the phones out in the market has a verbal personal assistant which is undoubtedly quite intelligent.

        • Youcantbeserious- You can’t be serious!

Okay about what you said. The fact is the production of Apple products takes place at one particular place. I hope you wouldn’t have a problem in agreeing to that. Okay, about the shipping bit and the custom duty for the export, that is paid by the customer itself and hence the ‘contract free’ versions are available which are still costlier, the price quoted over here is with the contract version and hence wouldn’t you agree this is a bit too much?

        • are u really gonna so much for a verbal assistant..i understand that the prices are still the same..but thts not the case where i they charge almost 60% more than the actual..and to be honest the actual itself is just too expensive..siri might work like a charm but who cares..its more of a bragging rights than a utility..if u say “what abt the time when u drive?”,,android has an app for assistant and its okay when u drive..i really dont see the need to pay so much money just for the braggin rights!!!!
